Responsibilities:

Synchrony pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician Automation Specialist to work with our Dosis, Cubex, and TCGRx machines.

Schedule Hours -

M-F hours, 3rd shift

ADDED 10% shift differential for 3rd shift

Duties

1. Prepacks for the floor bulk medications, fill bottles with prescribed medications and affix labels.

2. Responds to questions or requests. Directs inquires as needed to various departments.

3. Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.

4. Orders, labels, and counts stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies.

5. Receives and stores incoming supplies, verifies quantities against invoices, checks for outdated medications in current inventory and informs supervisor of stock needs and shortages.

6. Assists with special projects as needed.

7. Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.

8. Supports location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.

9. Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.

10. Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.

11. Leads by Example (LBE), upholds and promotes the culture, mission and values of the Company.

12. Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.

13. Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.

14. Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

Ohio Board of Pharmacy Technician licensure required. National certification may be required within up to one year of employment.

Experience:

One (1) to three (3) years’ pharmacy technician experience. Healthcare, senior living industry, assisted living, pharmacy or long-term care environment preferred.

Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
