What you will do::

Job purpose

This role is a specialized EHS position to help ensure the company maintains compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety laws/regulations, and internal policies and procedures. This position will work in conjunction with the EHS Center of Excellence staff and liaise with the Corporate EHS Function to help the organization achieve outstanding safety and environmental performance. This position will report directly to the Director of EHS for the Center of Excellence.

Duties and responsibilities

Using advanced computational and analytical skills to evaluate environmental, health and safety data using MS Excel.

Meticulously organizing and recording objective evidence demonstrating company compliance with regulations and corporate requirements.

Coordinating safety, environmental, sustainability and other related working sessions and/or training (in person, remote, or hybrid) as necessary to help the organization to meet company long- and short-term EHS objectives.

Assisting with routine updates to company EHS training programs, Management and Control Standards, and supporting documentation.

Preparing annual regulatory reports to ensure compliance with environmental (Tier II, bi-annual, etc.) and safety (OSHA300, BLS, etc.) reporting requirements.

Organizing, inspecting for completion, and recording EHS training records in the companies SharePoint system.

Responding to general branch inquiries regarding EHS processes and training materials.

Engaging with human resources, legal department, branch management, other corporate functions, and third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure alignment across functions and organization with all EHS objectives.

Preparing reports and presentation for corporate and field management as appropriate.

Assisting with authoring and compiling information for company EHS communication via email, hard copy (as minimally appropriate), and through the companies EHS Management System on SharePoint.

Overseeing administration of the company’s safety awards/incentive programs.

Organizing and responding to a high stream of emails and phone calls.

Other activities and efforts as determined to be appropriate and necessary in the support of the companies EHS programs.

What you will bring::

Qualifications

Associates or greater education in a Corporate Management program.

5+ years’ experience with EHS support.

Skilled with Computer Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Proficiency with Excel (conditional formatting, pivot tables, lookups, structure, design) .

Knowledge of and experience with OSHA and EPA, State, Regional and Local regulatory requirements.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Proven experience in a Virtual Support role.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and ability.

Ability to impact and effect change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach.

Demonstrated successful experience working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture.

Working conditions

Minimal travel requirements as needed for business purposes.

Efficient space to work remote/virtual without interruptions during important working sessions.
