Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification internal audit experience for a short-term project in the energy and utilities sector. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in conducting a comprehensive audit of budgeting and reporting processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough audits of budgeting and reporting processes within the energy and utilities sector.

• Evaluate financial statements, reports, and budgets for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Identify and assess risks, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.

• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to energy and utilities.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit.

• Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting processes within the energy and utilities sector.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
