Get to Know the Opportunity:

Primary point of accountability to business partners and other parties for project planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, readiness, and reporting of large and significant projects or small to large programs (typically $5M-$15M) where scope is subject to change, contains high complexity, and high degree of risk, large number of resources, and complex organizational change issues that support moderate to complex business unit or corporate goals. May be responsible to provide management and oversight for a business or IT portfolio. In every case, project/program objectives address complex business goals. The projects/programs will span multiple IT and/or business areas. Accountable to manage and monitor project tasks and controls during portfolio planning, project planning, and delivery activities to ensure on-time and quality outcomes are met within scope and budget. Work with a high degree of autonomy and apply expert/leading project and program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications, presentations to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to Voya delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.

PLEASE NOTE: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.

Develop, manage, monitor, and report on all project, program, and/ or portfolio tasks, activities, controls, deliverables, and reports; and/or provide management and oversight for a business or IT portfolio.

Demonstrated ability to be disciplined and flexible at the same time.

Promote early awareness, communication, transparency, and mitigation planning of critical dependencies, risks and issues within project.

Provide input into business strategies and direction that determine and shape projects.

Supply accurate project estimates and tightly manage project budget, approved funding, forecasts, and actuals.

Ability to understand and articulate what is critical and what is noise; keeps team focused on the priorities.

Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to Voya delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

Minimum of 10 years working on related implementation projects.

5+ years of experience within benefits administration.

Demonstrated ability to apply judgement in all scenarios.

Leading understanding of project management principles.

Proven ability to apply expert/leading project management and program management skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications, and presentations.

Expert knowledge of a project lifecycle.

Proficiently utilize current project and/or portfolio planning, reporting, and support tools.

Proficiently develop, manage, monitor, and appropriately report on programs, projects, portfolio and/or project tasks and controls.

Develop business case, understand it thoroughly, and continually monitor projects or programs against it to ensure benefit realization.

Continuous learner; quickly adapt to changing environment and personalities.

Experience interacting with and influencing senior members of management.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Experience within SaaS field and/or working with Public Sector customers preferred.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$111,150 - $138,940 USD
