Our manufacturing client is seeking a dedicated Calibration Technician to join their team on 1st shift.

As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of measuring and testing devices used in the manufacturing, assembling, and testing processes.

Responsibilities: Test and verify results of controlled measuring and testing equipment using specifications tailored for each piece of equipment.

Ensure that all inspection, measuring, and test equipment is suitable for its intended purposes and capable of producing valid results.

Establish and maintain procedures for testing and calibrating controlled equipment.

Maintain a calibration database with detailed information on each controlled instrument, including calibration due dates, control numbers, model/serial numbers, manufacturer details, units of measure, and tolerance.

Perform data collection, interpret and analyze information, and provide recommendations and feedback for solutions.

Troubleshoot instrumentation/equipment malfunctions.

Perform job functions in accordance with applicable SOPs, DOIs, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Quality Systems Regulations (FDA, ISO). Serve as a records coordinator as required.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.

2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or technical setting.

Proficiency in using measuring and testing devices, including mechanical, automated, or electronic inspection equipment.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Computer skills.

Good writing and verbal communication skills.

Some technical training in pneumatics, electronics, and metrology.

ASQ or similar certification in Quality Technology, Calibration, or Quality Engineering.

Experience in a regulatory/FDA or ISO manufacturing setting.

Cleanroom experience.

Strong mathematical and mechanical skills.

Preferences: Regulatory/FDA or ISO manufacturing setting experience.

Cleanroom experience.

ASQ or similar certification in Quality Technology, Calibration, or Quality Engineering.
