Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential renovation projects based on thorough analysis and understanding of project requirements

Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project scope and specifications

Conduct on-site visits and evaluations to assess existing conditions and provide detailed cost breakdowns

Utilize industry knowledge and market trends to source and evaluate materials and subcontractor quotes

Develop comprehensive proposals and support sales staff during the planning process Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the estimation process

Actively participate in project kick-off meetings and provide support to the project management team

Design and enhance estimation templates to improve efficiency in upcoming projects.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in residential renovation estimation or a related field.

Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and subcontractors

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in estimation software, such as CoConstruct and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. A diploma or degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field is an asset.

Salary and Benefits:

Full Time

Salary at $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Medical
