Optical Engineer - Network Tools

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days About the Role : - We are seeking a highly motivated Optical Network Engineer to join our growing Optical Development Team.

- You will play a critical role in supporting the development, operation, and maintenance of our optical transport networks.

Responsibilities : - Leverage your expertise in optical transport networks and transport operations to contribute to the development process.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within optical networks, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

- Manage and maintain data center networks, including product lines such as 3k, 9k, NCS-5500, Arista switches, and OTN devices.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of DWDM, OTN, and IP networking fundamentals, including MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.

- Analyze and diagnose network problems using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to identify and implement solutions for network challenges.

- (Preferred) Possess experience with Optical Network Architecture and operations in data center environments involving ADVA Cloudnet MUX, Molex, Infinera, and 400ZR technologies.

- (Preferred) Experience working in a Dev/Ops model for optical networks.

Qualifications : - 3-5 years of experience in optical networking with a focus on DWDM and OTN technologies.

- Strong understanding of transport networking, IP networking, and DWDM network principles.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively.

- Experience managing and maintaining data center networks is a plus.

- Familiarity with network protocols such as MPLS, BGP, and OSPF is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
