Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Tester to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our capital market trading platforms About the Role : In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of our trading platforms within the capital markets domain.

You will leverage your experience with Selenium and Java/Python to automate various test scenarios across equities, derivatives, and ideally, commodities.

Key Skills : - 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Tester - Experience in the Capital Market Trading Domain (Equity & Derivatives) - Experience with commodities is a plus - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation (Java or Python) - Proficiency in Java or Python programming language - Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or Newman (experience with Trading/Market Data API testing is a plus) - Familiarity with Git version control systems (BitBucket, GitLab) Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java/Python - Create and maintain test data for automated testing - Execute test cases and analyze results (including retesting) - Identify, document, and report software defects - Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve defects - Participate in test planning and estimation activities - Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools and methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
