Spring Boot/Security Architect

About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Spring Boot Security Architect to join our team.

You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions for our Spring Boot applications.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Spring Security to lead a team of developers in building secure and performant APIs while fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.

Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of secure Spring Boot applications - Conduct security threat modeling and implement appropriate security controls - Analyze and define security requirements based on project needs - Provide technical solutions and drive the team to achieve optimal security within the given timeframe - Champion best practices in secure coding, authentication, authorization, and API security - Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of security features - Debug security issues, analyze logs, and perform API tracing to identify and resolve problems - Review and improve code quality through static code analysis - Actively participate in pre and post-production launches, including monitoring and troubleshooting - Contribute to the development and maintenance of team documentation aligned with current Ford processes - Continuously improve application performance through optimization techniques (e.g., caching, cloud storage) - Refine and evolve existing codebase to enhance overall security and API functionality - Define and implement API security strategies - Stay up-to-date on the latest Spring Security features and security best practices Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share knowledge with team members and stakeholders - Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals - Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes cross-cultural communication - Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving Requirements : - 10-15 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Spring Boot Security - Proven track record of building secure and scalable Spring Boot applications - In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices (e.g.

OWASP Top 10) - Experience with security frameworks like Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT - Strong understanding of API security concepts and implementation strategies - Excellent debugging, log analysis, and tracing skills - Proficiency in static code analysis tools - Experience with pre-production and post-production launch processes - Experience with application performance optimization techniques (caching, cloud storage) - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills - Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural environment - Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
