Engineering Manager

Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to take the helm of our engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining processes, building cohesive teams, and working closely with our founders to shape our technology roadmap.

Roles and Responsibilities : - Team Building and Leadership : Recruit, nurture, and lead a team of full-stack developers.

- Scalable Architecture and Management : Design a scalable architecture that supports large-volume B2B transactions.

- Predictive Modeling for Waste Reduction and Stakeholder Empowerment : Develop predictive models to reduce waste and empower key stakeholders through valuable insights.

- Tech Stack Development and Deployment : Take a hands-on approach to build and deploy a tech stack from the ground up to eliminate blockers in our ecosystem.

- Technology Solutions for Supply Chain Innovation : Implement technology solutions that enhance margins through various pricing algorithms and improve operational efficiencies.

- Farmer-centric products : Understand farmer pain points and develop solutions and tools that seamlessly integrate with our larger supply chain.

- Lead the engineering team to deliver high-quality software products aligned with business objectives.

- Define and implement tech strategies, goals, and roadmaps in collaboration with founders.

- Architect, design, and maintain software features.

- Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality software development.

- Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Manage project plans, budgets, and engineering talent.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

- Implement scalable engineering processes for organizational growth.

Must-Have Qualifications : - 6 years of software engineering experience, with leadership and process definition skills.

- Proficiency in Java (backend) and React (frontend). - Expertise in microservices and RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of agile practices and software development practices.

Good-to-Have Qualifications : - Prior experience in AgriTech or related industries.

- Innovative Thinking : Experience in bringing new technologies or products to market.

- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and agricultural environments.
