DoctusTech - Quality Analyst/Automation Engineer - Appium/Selenium

Core Responsibilities : - Should have worked in Selenium and Appium automation tools - Should be able to develop re-usable and robust automated Test Scripts - Should be aware of different bug tracking and project management tools - Strong experience in Object Oriented Programming - Functional & non-functional testing of Android & iOS mobile applications - Should have design, plan a product QA implementation - Should have detailed understanding of Cloud, SAAS based services Primary Qualification : - Good Communication - Functional & non-functional testing of Android & iOS mobile applications - Writing automation test cases - Mobile APP test automation tool like appium - Mobile test automation tool like Appium - Good concept on TestNG and Maven frameworks - Basic API automation concepts - Good knowledge on API's - Worked on tools like Postman - Basic knowledge on Core & Advanced Concepts of Java with Programming skills - Proficient understanding of GitHub, JIRA - Should have worked in CI/CD tools like Jenkins Secondary Qualification : - Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.

- Designing QA test procedures.

- Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.

- Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.

- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.

- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.

- Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.

- Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.

- Responding to requests from the design team and management.

- Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git - Knowledge on latest development tools - Databases preferably SQL (nice to have) - Experience with healthcare applications, patient engagement solutions (nice to have) - Basic working knowledge of Linux - Basic commands, SSH connections and check logs Required Skills : - Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on development experience.

Job Description : - Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or problems of moderate complexity.

- Works on small to medium complex projects/issues that require a singular area of expertise.

- Works on projects/changes of minimal to medium complexity.

- Estimates effort required for own work - Identifies risk, comes up with mitigation plans, and implements the same.

- Reports progress on problem resolution to management.

- Experience with web-based application testing (minimum 3 yr.) - Experience with integration testing between applications (minimum 3 yr.) - Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions - Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required - A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team - Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle (ref:hirist.tech)
