Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional Testing

Key Responsibilities : Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications within the e-commerce domain Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functionality Execute test cases and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and other QA activities to maintain product quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing Key Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 6 years of proven experience in Manual QA, with a strong focus on e-commerce applications Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work night shifts (mandatory), with rotation and Work From Office (WFO) preferred for Noida location and remote options available for other locations Nice to Have : Automation testing experience using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner ISTQB or other relevant certifications (ref:hirist.tech)
