We are looking for a skilled and experienced WebSphere Administrator with expertise in FileNet to join our growing team.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of our WebSphere application server environment and supporting the FileNet content management system.
Primary Skills (Must-Have): - 3 years of hands-on experience in WebSphere administration.
- In-depth knowledge of FileNet configuration, deployment, and administration.
- Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and scripting.
Experience with the entire FileNet lifecycle, including: - Implementation - Development - Configuration - Support - Troubleshooting - Proven ability to serve as a technical liaison between project managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to guide the software development process through technical expertise and high-level decision making.
Technical Skills: WebSphere Administration: - Installation, configuration, and management of WebSphere application server instances.
- Application deployment, security configuration, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with WebSphere administration tools and consoles.
FileNet Expertise: - Configuration of document classes, workflows, and security settings within FileNet.
- Understanding of FileNet Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and Application Engine (AE). - Experience with FileNet deployment across different environments (development, test, production). Scripting and Automation: - Proficiency in scripting languages like Java or scripting capabilities within WebSphere or FileNet.
- Ability to automate routine administrative tasks.
Additional Skills (Bonus Points): - Experience with SQL for querying databases related to WebSphere or FileNet.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Manage the day-to-day operations of the WebSphere application server environment.
- Install, configure, and deploy FileNet applications on WebSphere.
- Administer user access and security for FileNet content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve FileNet and WebSphere related issues.
- Assist developers with FileNet integration and deployment.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WebSphere and FileNet technologies and best practices.
- Document procedures and processes for knowledge transfer.
