Your responsibilities will include:

Quality checks on Instructional Design scripts:

Editing, formatting, proof-reading eLearning course scripts to correct spelling mistakes and grammatical errors

Ensuring all course scripts and accompanying documentation adhere to client specifications and in-house style guide/standards

Verifying that content scripts are structured appropriately and are suitable for the intended target audience, covering learning objectives as required

Editing course assessments, ensuring that all learning objectives are assessed effectively

Preparing voiceover scripts and managing voiceover requests

Quality checks on Digital Learning courses:

Conducting iterative in-depth reviews of eLearning products created by our Media Development to ensure accuracy and consistency of style

Ensuring eLearning course content matches approved scripts (verifying compliance with client specifications and inhouse standards)

Checking spelling and grammar

Ensuring consistency of style (within individual pages, and between pages)

Checking synchronisation of voiceover with onscreen text and graphics

Checking captioning of graphics

Ensuring that relevant/appropriate imagery is used

Conducting rigorous testing of all aspects of course functionality on the Learning Management System (LMS) prior to course deployment

Preparing and sending deployment request forms for generic courses

Uploading courses to Training portal - for testing of all courses, deploying of bespoke courses and assigning client reviews for bespoke courses

Maintaining required quality assurance targets:

Ensuring course content is of a consistently high standard through working closely with the Instructional Design and Digital Design teams

Other QA tasks such as proof-reading publications/marketing material etc

We`d like you to have:

Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications

Exceptional English and communications skills

Excellent people and management skills to maximise interaction with customers, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties

Familiarity with the energy and maritime industries

Excellent grasp of the English language

Scrupulous attention to detail and a natural ability to proof-read

Ability to concentrate for long spells

Comfortable working with IT

Enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Good time management skills

Excellent communicator

Self-motivated

Capable of working in a team and independently
