Billing Analyst

Team Description & Purpose of Role:

You will work within the Billing Team to assist in carrying out key centralised tasks for the Company. This role reports to the Billing Team Leader but will involve extensive liaison with other departments including sales, IT support and systems, regional finance and products.

Job Responsibilities:

Billing:

•Ensuring all invoices are sent out on time for billing entity, product group and/or special customers that Billing Analyst is responsible for.

•Ensuring all invoices are accurate.

•Billing customer and its VAT number. VAT rate charged correctly

•Dealing with and resolving billing disputes, creating Credit Notes off-cycle.

•Dealing with and resolving Billing Tickets (AR Requests)

•Reporting on held billing, un-finalized and problematic Invoices and Credit Notes

Additional responsibilities:

•Supporting other departments like Sales, Local Finance Teams, Service Delivery etc.

•Closely liaising with Collection teams to ensure smooth cashflow.

Experience Required:

•You should have completed an undergraduate degree (preferably in accountancy).

•In addition we require the following skills and qualities : Good written and spoken English

•Strong attention to detail.

•Ability to work in a timely and accurate fashion, follow up in assigned projects

•Professional and articulate

•Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties

•Numerate, Organized and Independent

•Flexible and self motivated, team player.

•Essential: good Excel skills ideally to include; Pivot Tables and VLookUp
