Purpose of Job

Ensure the integrity and sustainability of the BLNG assets by effective supervision of the Instrument Systems division

Dimension

Annual Budget: In the order of B$ 0.5 million OPEX

Subordinates: No direct reports

Others: It has an annual revenue of US$ 1 billion with an annual Opex/Capex outlay of around US$ 100 million. Total replacement value of BLNG assets, including BSP assets in BLNG, is in the order of B$1.6 billion.

Principal accountabilities

1. Manage instrument systems maintenance implementation programs that match the delivery programs for the integrated LNG supply chain and related by-products. Instrument systems responsible for are;

• Distributed Control System ( DCS )

• Safety Instrumented Systems ( SIS )

• Fire and Gas Systems ( FGS )

• Vibration Monitoring Systems ( VMS )

• Turbine compressors Control systems

• Compressor control systems

2. Assist to supervise the execution of maintenance and project implementation activities, such that integrity and reliability requirements are met for the BLNG and BSP assets in BLNG.

3. Responsible for the planning and efficient execution of discipline maintenance & project activities whilst adhering to integrity and reliability standards; participate in root cause analysis exercises.

4. Responsible for on the job training and the development of individual's competencies, necessary to achieve the business needs, assisting the BLNG job rotation and Brueinanisation objectives.

5. Supervision of all health, safety, environment related to discipline activities.

6. Supervision of effective QA/QC implementation and adherence for routine discipline team activities.

7. Assist in maintaining relations and communication with BLNG's staff on Instrument Systems related matters.

Qualification

Required: A HND or Degree holder with at least 10 years (HND) or 6 years (Degree) of relevant work experience

Competence

Required Experience: A qualified discipline/instrument supervisor with a minimum 8 years industrial working experience in the Technician position of Instrument System.
