Job Details

We’re the world’s leading data, insights, and consulting company; we shape the brands of tomorrow by better understanding people everywhere.

Our Functions teams are right at the centre of our business, making sure we can always get better, every day. Supporting the business with things like Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Legal and Technology, our Functions colleagues are skilled professionals whose role it is to ensure we continue to become an indispensable partner to brands everywhere.

Why this job is important.

We're NIPO, a Kantar owned SaaS platform supplier, and we're looking for a .NET Software Developer to join our self-steering engineering teams and accelerate development for our platforms. As pioneers of Azure PaaS, we run a full Microsoft Tech stack, and regularly have access to new Microsoft technology ahead of the wider market. Our Engineers are daring, take ownership of their work, and build excellent relationships with Product teams.

Our platforms are used by leading market research firms - so what you build will have an ultimate impact on consumers across global markets. Our SaaS platforms cater for deep complexity and are full elastic to scale with the heavy load. We believe in quality, security, and compliance, and building products with maximum impact.

The skills & experience you'll bring.

First and foremost, we're looking for an outstanding teammate. You'll have terrific communications skills, and want to make an impact in your team - as well as help less experienced team member learn. You understand that development for a platform, with a long product-life cycle, must remain at the forefront of technological opportunities (refactoring) whilst continuing additional enhancements.

On the technical side of things, prior experience in back-end development is a must, preferably with the below tech:

· .Net Core /C#

· Test automation

· Cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure)

· In general, you're keen to work with the latest Microsoft technology.

We've got a mature Agile/Scrum set up, so you'll be confident in following this methodology.

Lastly, we're an English-speaking workplace, so to be able to connect with your team members you'll need to be comfortable with written and spoken English.

What’s in it for you

Besides working with the newest Microsoft tech, we offer a working environment that is built on trust and encouragement. Our colleagues are all highly motivated, looking to tackle innovative problems. We will continuously invest in growing your professional skills and strongly encourage you to be actively involved in Microsoft certification.

As well as all the usual benefits, we also offer flexible working hours, and the ability to work from home as well as from the office.

This role is open to be in Portugal or Spain.

Why join Kantar?

We shape the brands of tomorrow by better understanding people everywhere. By understanding people, we can understand what drives their decisions, actions, and aspirations on a global scale. And by amplifying our in-depth expertise of human understanding alongside ground-breaking technology, we can help brands find concrete insights that will help them succeed in our fast-paced, ever shifting world.

And because we know people, we like to make sure our own people are being looked after as well. Equality of opportunity for everyone is our highest priority, and we support our colleagues to work in a way that supports their health and wellbeing. While we encourage teams to spend part of their working week in the office, we understand no one size fits all; our approach is flexible to ensure everybody feels included, accepted, and that we can win together. We’re dedicated to creating an inclusive culture and value the diversity of our people, clients, suppliers and communities, and we encourage applications from all backgrounds and sections of society. Even if you feel like you’re not an exact match, we’d love to receive your application and talk to you about this job or others at Kantar.
