Computer Aided Design Drafter

Overview As a CAD Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Your work will contribute to the successful execution of architectural and engineering projects.

Responsibilities Drafting and Design: Operate a computer-assisted design (CAD) workstation to create precise and clear engineering drawings.

Produce detailed documentation packages and drawing sets.

Quality Assurance: Verify design drawings to ensure they conform to specifications, design data, and industry standards.

Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and other team members to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Contract Preparation: Assist in preparing contracts and tender documents related to projects.

Qualifications Education: A diploma or degree in drafting technology, engineering technology, or a related field.

Experience: Prior experience in CAD drafting is preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
