We're currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a prominent client in the Toronto area.

My client is a team of high-performing problem solvers.

They are digital experts focused on building a diverse set of products and solutions for their consumers.

Their core products include mobile apps, self-serve kiosks, POS and delivery.

They invest in areas like AI, IoT, and Machine Learning.

They are looking for a Full Stack Developer who will collaborate with a solid team of developers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver requirements that are focused on creating new solutions rooted in the users’ actual needs.

• HTML • CSS • JavaScript • ECMAScript 6 • microservices • REST • JSON • REST API • GIT WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Decompose user stories and translate them into detailed design specifications and code Deliver efficient, scalable code that flows with our codebase Interact with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end customers WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 5+ years of experience with backend development and developing web applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (React.Js Vue.Js Node.Js) Experience building microservices Experience with REST/JSON services and building REST APIs Experience with AWS technologies and Serverless environments Using GIT or any other version control system Experience working on Agile teams and scaling applications ABOUT YOU: You have strong oral and written communication skills and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences You have a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and self-motivation You’re able to work with other programming languages and learn new languages and technologies quickly You have a passion for user experience, performance, and uptime You are curious, love to push the envelope and challenge the status quo You thrive in a unique, collaborative, high-energy environment You know that trust is imperative and actively build it through accountability, integrity and respect for people’s ideas and time.
