About the job: We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Office Administration Manager to join our team.

The Office Administration Manager will be instrumental in maintaining the efficient operation of our organization's administrative activities in our Calgary office.

This pivotal role involves overseeing a range of administrative functions, including human resources, payroll, finance, communication coordination, and team leadership, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Serving as a central liaison, this role facilitates communication among departments and provides leadership and support to administrative staff, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively.

What you will be doing: Manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.

Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Handle financial tasks such as budgeting, expense tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting.

Facilitate communication within the organization, ensuring information flow between departments and teams.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary measures to address any issues or gaps.

Streamline administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Address operational challenges and find effective solutions to maintain business continuity and support organizational goals.

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to administrative staff, promoting a positive work environment and fostering professional development.

What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in office administration, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Understanding of Canadian labor laws, employment standards, and regulations is essential.

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in human resources management practices, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Experience with payroll administration processes, including payroll software and compliance with Canadian payroll regulations.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with office management software and systems.

Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in French is highly valued.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and external contacts.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and data management.
