IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY Interim Senior Consultant - Organizational Effectiveness Reports To: Vice President Human Resources Duration: 3 months As this is a project role the client is open part time or full time 100% virtual Our client is a high profile Canadian not-for-profit; they need an experienced professional to add critical expertise to their team and own some high-profile projects.

This is a perfect assignment if you have delivered for medium sized organizations on organizational effectiveness projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with the VP HR to assess all the administration roles in the organization.

Provide key insights, define the roles, create consistency, and build a plan to execute the change.

Work with the VP HR and the Board to prepare for a CEO change in 2025.

This includes assessing the current executive team, the executive structure and role design for the new CEO position.

Subject matter expert providing guidance for executives and senior leadership related to organizational development and effectiveness initiatives aligned to business objectives.

Facilitate the development and implementation of organizational and functional competencies to support organizational goals and competitiveness in the marketplace, while enabling the delivery of high value-add to its’ clients.

Manage programs and projects to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness (analytics, tracking and reporting on operational performance and agreed metrics). Develop organizational effectiveness tools for the HR Business Partners and coach them to improve their OE capabilities.

Education and Experience: Senior Manager to Senior Director-level HR experience specializing in Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Design.

University degree specializing in Human Resources (or related filed) preferred; master’s degree and/or CHRL designation are an asset.

Strong project management skills with a proven ability to prioritize, plan and execute projects from envisioning stage through to implementation.

Strong consulting and coaching skills, including experience influencing senior leaders.

Led similar projects around CEO succession and process optimization.

Strategic thinking with expert knowledge of OE trends and practices.

Excellent demonstration of analytical skills and ability to prepare executive ready materials, including strong proficiency in MS Office.

Resourceful in leveraging organization; comfortable dealing with uncertainty and problem-solving.

Strong business acumen.

Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
