Metrology Technician

Salary: $20-$27/hr DOE

Requirements:

HS Diploma Required. AS Degree in Engineering, highly preferred.

2 years of direct experience required.

Familiarity with hand tools and how to use them.

Must possess strong computer skills, and Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Experience with the following programs: Indysoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal experience is highly desired.

Previous experience with customer service is a plus.

Must be detail-oriented, team player, displays a positive attitude.

Must have strong math skills.

US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities:

Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures.

Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards.

The candidate will be required to calibrate linear dimensional hand tools and other related equipment.
