We are currently seeking an Oracle Developer (Oracle Snowflake Migration) for our client in the Financial Services domain. Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Location: Durham, NC/Jersey City, NJ (5 days Onsite per month / 1 Week onsite)

Salary: $60-$70/Hourly

Role Description: The Oracle Developer (Oracle Snowflake Migration) must have at least 8+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Three or more years of industry experience as an Oracle Database engineer and developer

- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical/engineering discipline

- Hands-on working experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

- Proven experience in data analysis and database design

- Familiarity with Data warehousing concepts and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend

- Exposure to Linux shell scripts, and Autosys would be a plus.

- Exposure to GIT Stash, Jenkins, Jira, and uDeploy a plus

- Experience working on Snowflake and Python would be a plus.

- Exposure to native AWS services such as EC2 and lambda functions

- Experience working in agile methodology and providing L3 support.

- Knowledgeable about Data APIs, data streaming, and messaging technologies

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Curiosity and passion about data, visualization and solving problems.

- Willingness to take initiative on continuous improvement.

- Eager to learn and deliver in a fast-paced environment and thrill the users.

- A self-starter, highly motivated, and an innovative thinker.

Must Have:

- 8+ years Snowflake development experience (moving from Oracle to Snowflake) Snowflake with data modeling knowledge (still need to have advanced core Oracle skills).

Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
