Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Operations Coordinator is a central partner in the daily operations of the Ottawa Branch Office. Working closely with Account Managers, the incumbent manages employees and contracts assigned to them, including scheduling, maintaining great relationships with the sites, and daily problem resolution.

Job responsibilities:

Manage schedules and assignments planning for various sites, ensuring compliance in terms of staffing.

Continuously review the day-to-day operations within the branch to optimize resources, improve profitability and customer service & limit overtime – implementing change where necessary.

Coordinate vacation requests and leaves of absences.

Approve weekly time sheets and adjust payrolls and invoices when needed.

Validate uniform requests and coordinate with the uniform department.

Support site supervisors in the managements of guards.

Participate in the management of the client portfolio operations in accordance with the collective agreement (planning, cost control, etc.).

Ensure that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met, and that GardaWorld procedures and standards (including health and safety, security, personnel) are consistently applied across the area.

Support the recruitment and onboarding process with all GardaWorld employees.

Any other related tasks.

Job requirement

3-5 years’ experience in the security industry, an asset

Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Highly customer-services focused with excellent communication skills

High degree of integrity, trustworthy

Driver's license and ability to travel in Eastern Ontario

Bilingualism (English and French), an asset
