Position Overview:
As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), you will play a key role in supporting individuals with severe or profound developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence. You will develop and implement individualized service plans, provide direct care, and facilitate community engagement opportunities for residents.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with residents on skill development, maintaining your flexible schedule to meet their needs
Coordinate and participate in resident community outings and leisure activities
Contribute to Residents' annual Ohio Individual Service Plans (OISPs) and quarterly reviews
Develop, monitor, and implement skills development plans for residents
Prepare and maintain monthly progress notes on assigned residents
Coordinate and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Shop for resident-related items based on individual needs
Provide transportation for community outings, appointments, and outside programming
Train Direct Care staff and keep them informed of resident skills development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university
3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid driver's license and insurance
CPR and First Aid certification will be required. On-the-job training is provided

Salary starting at $52,520 per year, commensurate with experience.
