Security Guard (Camp ) Alberta

Emergency Security Management (ESM), a top tier security firm, is looking for Security Guards willing to (work in Alberta's Back Country providing security for remote Wildfires sites on an on-call basis. Please note: Will not be working near active fires

Successful candidates must be able to accommodate a 14-day rotation schedule potentially working 12-14 hours per day and be willing to work, days, nights, weekends and holidays. You will be working out of a work camp, with all meals provided. You may be required to stay in a tent initially, but you be supplied with a tent and cot.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to think on their feet, great report writing skills and attention to detail - always providing quality customer service. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and must be able to work under stressful environments.

Salary: $300-$350 per day

Job Qualification:

• Valid Alberta Security Guard License

• Valid Class 5 (or higher) Provincial Drivers License (NO GDL)

• Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods

• Must have a valid COVID 19 vaccination

• Be Fluent in English - verbal and written

• Standard First Aid

• Steel Toed Boots, Sleeping Bag, Water Bottle, etc.

These additional skills would be an asset.

• Safety tickets - WHMIS

• Camping and outdoor experience

ESM will supply Accommodations (Tents), Cots and meals during the 14-day rotation. Guards must supply their own Sleeping Bag and any other items required to be comfortable in the Alberta back country.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $300.00-$350.00 per day
