Are you our new IT Technical Team Lead

As an IT Technical Team Lead at Intrum in Riga you will play a crucial role in leading a team of technology professionals in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions for two areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business lines and vendors to deliver high-quality products and business requirements within an agile environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage and mentor team members while managing expectations of several stakeholders.

What will you do:

Lead a team of technology professionals in the design, development, testing, deployment and support of software solutions for REO and Sales channels.

Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Take on the role of technology owner for the applications within the Real Estate Operations (Salesforce, Property Base, Marketing Website) & Global Sales (Salesforce). This includes managing technical associated risks, working with business owners and other stakeholders (i.e. Audit, Compliance, Information Security, etc.)

Drive code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, scalability and maintainability keeping in mind information security standards.

Serve as a liaison between technical teams and other stakeholders, by effectively communicating project status, risks, and dependencies. Coordination with vendors is required.

Act as Scrum Master to facilitate collaboration with product ownership to define project requirements and priorities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and constructive feedback.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in software development (5+ years), with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role preferably in an agile environment.

Very good knowledge of software development life-cycle, deep understanding of software development principles, tools, practices and methodologies (Preferably with experience as team lead)

Proficiency in Java programing and frameworks. Experience with Salesforce and Property Base is definitely as plus.

Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment automation.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members in a matrix like environment.

Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex technical challenges while advising product teams.

Great interpersonal skills with a lot of proactivity. Take action and lead by example.

Good working knowledge or project tools (i.e. Jira & Confluence)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Language: Full English proficiency is mandatory (Verbal & Written)
