Overview:

The BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) RMO (Resident Medical Officer) for ICU (Intensive Care Unit) plays a critical role in providing holistic medical care to patients in the ICU. They are responsible for overseeing the medical treatment and care of critically ill patients, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide round-the-clock medical care and monitoring for ICU patients.

Work in collaboration with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Conduct regular patient assessments and create individualized care plans.

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per the patient's needs.

Attend to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress notes.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide updates and address concerns.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning and decision-making.

Adhere to all medical protocols, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care medicine and Ayurvedic practices.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Ayurvedic Medicine (BAMS) from a recognized institution.

Valid registration with the Medical Council.

Prior experience working in an ICU setting is highly preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and treating critical medical conditions.

Strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles and treatment modalities.

Ability to make quick and accurate medical decisions under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
