Are you a detail-oriented, task-driven HR Coordinator with outstanding problem solving and communication skills?

ESP Associates, Inc. (ESP) has an immediate need for a HR Coordinator (HRC) to join our team in Fort Mill, SC, ESP’s corporate headquarters. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized team player with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly to contribute to a well-established firm!

The HR Coordinator must be effective in planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a timely manner. They must also exhibit skills in building & maintaining strong relationships both internally & externally. The ideal candidate is both approachable, respectful, and comfortable taking the initiative when faced with administrative decisions.

Responsibilities: As an integral part of an ambitious team, the HRC will take the lead on a variety of human resources functions including talent acquisition, and general HR administrative support. These duties include but are not limited to:

Talent Acquisition:

Draft and route offer letters for approval.

Represent ESP as the primary point-of-contact to prospective employees during pre-screening and onboarding. This includes handling all administrative functions that are related to pre-employment (drug screening registration, reviewing pre-employment screen results and escalating as needed, entering data into systems, and coordinating with other departments as needed).

Ensure all necessary PPE, new employee welcome items, name plates, business cards, credit card, etc. are coordinated.

Set up new employees for appropriate office access (key/fob/security access, etc.)

Submit new hire I9s to E-Verify.

Maintain external recruiter agreements.

May assist with posting positions in ADP, on college job boards, etc.

May assist with career fair planning and coordination.

General HR Support:

Answer employee requests in a timely manner and escalate to the appropriate team member as needed.

Create and submit reports to senior management.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate records.

Become an expert user within ADP and Unanet. Learn how to best utilize the systems to support the organization.

Track employee referral bonuses.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience as a Human Resources or Recruiting Coordinator.

Experience using an HRIS or ATS, preferably ADP Workforce Now (WFN).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Ability to work well in a team environment, be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Professional, positive attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science or BS in Business, Communications, or a related degree.

Prior experience working in an Architectural, Engineering or Construction (AEC) firm.

HR Certification and/or training through SHRM or HRCI.
