Note: Although working in the field of behavioral health treatment is incredibly rewarding, it’s not for everyone. It takes a special kind of person to the work that we do. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical service, and research. PAR’s Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) Program provides quality out-patient opioid maintenance therapy to individuals suffering from the effects of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position coordinates care in a fast-paced, out-patient substance use disorder treatment setting. Tasks include (though are not limited to):
Checking in patients
Administering drug screens
Documentation in electronic health record
Verifying insurance/grant eligibility
Reviewing financial documents with patients
Accepting payments for treatment fees
Bank deposits
Answering phones
Distributing faxes
Facilitating food & drink sales
WORK SCHEDULE: 40-hours/week scheduled within the following business hours.
Monday 5:15AM to 1:15PM
Tuesday 5:15AM to 1:15PM
Wednesday 5:15AM to 1:15PM
Thursday 5:15AM to 1:15PM
Friday 5:15AM to 1:15PM
Saturday: 5:15AM to 10:15AM
Sunday: 5:15AM to 10:15AM
COMPENSATION: $15/hour
BENEFITS:
9 paid holidays per year
3 weeks of PTO per year (on top of holidays). PTO increases to 4 weeks/year after 2 years of employment, and then to 5 weeks/year after 5 years of employment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma / GED required.
Administrative/office assistant experience preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver's License
Must pass background and fingerprinting checks

Ability to manage time and resources
Ability to speak coherently and convey concepts
Computer proficiency required
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Ability to write accurately and legibly
Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop and reach
Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
