As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in leading our nursing team, promoting a culture of inclusivity, and driving excellence in resident care. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through your leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, and families, promoting open communication and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and execution of staff education and training programs.
Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing talent.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of best practices in nursing care.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations.
