Compensation: starts at $150,000
Open to Nurse Practitioners with no experience in Pain Management
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Nurse Practitioner in the Fresno, California area. The ideal Nurse Practitioner will promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.

Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives.
Provide high-quality pain management to patients and their families.
Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply, or
Open to Nurse Practitioners with no experience in Pain Management or
A least 1 year of experience in pain management
Active DEA license without restrictions
Must have a current California NP license
Must have a current DEA, ACLS and BLS certification
Can speak Spanish is preferred but not required
Able to work in Fresno, CA
Experience with EMR and EHR platforms preferred
