Your Controller duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Position Summary
This position is responsible for all accounting functions related to all entities within Oxford Senior Living and assists the CFO with special projects upon request.
Essential Functions
Leadership and Accounting Management
Supervision of Accounting Specialist
Provide oversight and review coding of A/P invoices from communities prior to payment and maintain expense tracker spreadsheet for all disbursements including petty cash
Review community customer billing with all operating communities
Review biweekly payroll, including related tax payments and returns
Reconcile monthly billing and cash receipts from Rent Roll to bank statements and ensure communities deposit cash receipts timely and accurately
General Accounting
Prepare all account and bank reconciliations for corporate accounts
Maintain cash and borrowing needs and notify CFO for required bank transfers
Maintain general ledgers for all communities under development
Budget Preparation
Assist Operations in preparation of annual community budgets as required
Assist CFO in development of proformas for developing communities as needed
Reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements for Oxford Development Holidings, LLC.
Review monthly community level financial statements and monthly investor financial statements
Prepare annual tax workpapers
Additional
Assist the CFO will other financial projects upon request

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Three (3) years of general accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
Seven (7) years of full service accounting experience
Prior accounting experience in an environment with multiple business entities
Physical Working Requirements
Ability to travel using personal vehicle, including at night
Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends
Team Member is subject to outside environment conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change
