EA is seeking a professional for an opportunity with a company in the Lafayette area (80026 - Hybrid). The company is focused on industrial construction services to a variety of industries, including food and beverage, dam rehabilitation, and piping systems. Other companies included in the scope will be agriculturally based including organic farming and organic flour companies.

Hiring goal

The President/CEO of the company is currently in search of an accomplished professional with experience in project management and executive assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate innate proactivity, a strong work ethic, and an affinity for managing a highly diverse array of tasks. This position is newly established, offering ample opportunities to address immediate requirements while contributing to its evolution into a more expansive role within the organization.

The Senior Executive Assistant role entails close engagement with the daily operations of the diverse business ventures and the undertakings of the President/CEO. They seek a candidate with a proven track record of reliability and experience at the executive level. The aim is to find the perfect match to meet both present demands and future aspirations of the executive and company.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Administrative – 60%

Core Responsibilities:

High volume inbox management (currently, his biggest pain point)

High volume calendar management

Relationship management, full-cycle coordination:

Calls (e.g., talking to brokers about potential deals)

In-person activities (e.g., site tours)

Meetings (e.g., employees and outside stakeholders)

Streamline communication which requires interpretation, persuasion and discretionary skills

The executive travels via private plane, weekly (domestic only)

Business Strategy – 30%

Work on a password security storage portal

Regularly attend business discussions so you can become a highly informed partner knowing all deadlines and tasks to proactively anticipate the needs of the company; plus recommend and act to resolve any challenges

Partner with President/CEO on leadership initiatives to optimize time and productivity

Streamline and manage to-dos to meet deadlines

Become one with all digital files so you know where everything is

Complete non-routine, complex projects and assignments which may include creating spreadsheets, databases or other confidential documents

Compile data from many sources to build out Excel reports

Support marketing efforts which require working with PowerPoint presentations

Prepares confidential and sensitive documentation and correspondence which may be distributed to various internal and external stakeholders

Organize 1:1 meetings with team members to routinely check in and stay up-to-date on all activities, deliverables and deadlines; lead the meeting with a predetermined agenda

Organize and maintain contact database (Outlook) records

Support board activities

Scheduling and travel associated with YPO activities

Business Growth – 10%

Bridge the gap between the main company and business partners

Support activities pertaining to business partner initiatives

Conduct research associated with new business opportunities

Desired background and attributes

Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves.”

In order to reach maximum success in this role, you will have obtained a Business Administration or a Economics Bachelors degree or higher

Your skill set has 75% of the skills needed to hit the ground running in the first 30-days

Engineering/Construction industry experience, a plus

Business acquisition experience, a plus

Arranging private jet travel experience, a plus

Nimble, adaptable, charismatic, and entrepreneurial mindset, a big plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Be technically savvy and resourceful and industrious (i.e., find ways to consolidate responsibilities with intuitive technology resources)

Has experience with confidentiality matters, required

Comfortable jumping from task to task conversationally, as numerous operating companies will have differing needs at various times.

You've previously been responsible for helping an executive with a very robust Excel workbook that analyzes, assesses, and communicates data for multiple businesses.

Company Offerings

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: $85k to 145k

401(k) plan: match $:$ up to 6%
