Job Description

1st shift

-Package, stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.

-Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) and give weights and dimensions to the logistics coordinator.

-Stage finished product for loading.

-Load finished product onto trucks and take pictures for documentation purposes.

-Review production requirements/schedule with Production Manager every day.

-Request paperwork for shipments if needed. Responsible for accuracy of shipping paperwork. -Unload raw materials and finished product from trucks when required.

-Move raw materials to warehouse staging area and finished product to warehouse storage.

-All finished product being moved to the Finished Goods warehouse area should be clearly identified and readable from the floor to the top shelf.

-Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters when required.

-Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.

-Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

-Operate forklifts (with certification) & trucks.

-Complete necessary paperwork daily.

-Communicate with supervisors and managers.

-Clean and maintain work area. Turn off equipment when not in use.

-All truck chocks are to be picked up at the end of the shift and put on the shelf by the loading dock. --Gates must be locked at the end of the shift unless there is an after shift pickup scheduled.

-Other duties as assigned.
