Job Description

Amazon Delivery Services is seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking individuals to fill Delivery Associate (DA) or Driver positions! Join our team delivering Amazon packages in the Bronx and Westchester and grow with our company. In this position, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed our customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time, at the right place.

Responsibilities:

Our Delivery Associates/Drivers drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community

You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week

A typical workday is approximately 10 hours

Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road

You'll interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner

You'll use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles

Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer promise

Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times

May assist in training other team members

May assist other Delivery team members in completing deliveries when behind

Delivery Associates / Drivers must meet the following requirements:

Must be at least 21+ years old

Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment

Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less

Authorized to work in the United States

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Must pass a 4-panel drug test

Must be able to move boxes up to 70 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 12 hours long

Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 70 pounds each

Ability to work 40 hours a week. This position is full-time

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
