Position Description:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is focused on sales in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. The RSM, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, is responsible for sustaining and growing sales in their assigned region through activity with the channel and VARs: System Integrators, Engineering Firms, ITS Distributors, Technology Partners, as well as generating demand with top global end-users in the region. Build relationships and grow business with various governmental agencies in the Federal, State, County, and City levels.

PA, NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME, DE, DC, MD, VA
Responsibilities include:
Understand Intelligent Traffic solutions (ITS)
IP video market trends and dynamics
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and growth expectations
Drive camera and ITS Analytic specification and VMS recommendations and specifications through activity with VARs, End Users, A&Es, and Security Consultants
Team with ITS Partners and other Technology Partners to increase revenue and market awareness
Develop CostarHD local resellers to drive sales in the region
Conduct customer training, events, on-site product demonstrations, roadshows, and trade shows
Effective use of CRM system to manage opportunities, contacts, and leads
Be the face of CostarHD in the region and an industry thought leader
Other additional responsibilities to drive revenue and market share
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent electronic trade work experience
Experience/Personal Skills:
Minimum of 5+ years of outside selling/project management experience in the Intelligent Traffic and/or Security Industry and/or IT related field
Must live in the territory of coverage
Proven Track record of success in the region and Intelligent Traffic industry.
Driven and motivated to succeed in a highly competitive environment
Great organizational skills
Strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively in cross-functional teams
Strong public speaking skills, able to present technical information effectively to large audiences
Excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment remaining focused on key goals as well as the ability to work under time constraints
Professional and articulate in both verbal and written communication
Must be technically adept and able to guide troubleshooting team issues and help to find resolutions as they arise.
Excellent business acumen
Must speak fluent English
Fluency in Microsoft Applications
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to lift 25-50 Lbs. and occasionally more
Expected travel for the position is between 30%-60%
