Sales Engineer

Job Description

Sales Engineer Position Summary:

•Perform sales and application engineering functions for commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects

•Coordinate with external sales representatives and customers to provide accurate equipment selections and quotes

•Familiarity with a variety of HVAC system components, such as fans & blowers, electric motors, heating and cooling coils, gas fired heating systems, energy recovery systems, air filtration, etc.

•Recognize opportunities & capture new business

•Gather competitive intelligence •Resolve customer issues that affect current or future business

Qualifications and Skills:

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•Excellent analytical problem-solving skills

•Excellent organizational skills

•Competent basic computer skills, especially M/S Office Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks

•Good math, grammar and spelling skills, neat handwriting or printing

•Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

•Enjoys working in a team atmosphere

•Must be a self-starter that is able to perform job requirements with minimal direct supervision
