Job Description
$22-27 per hour based on experience and skill levelResponsibilities:
Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
Measure and document vital signs and update medical history for patients
Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after useQualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential
Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA state license by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)About Company
