Ideal Candidate would have a minimum of 2 years as a Pool Maintenance Technician and 5 years as a Pool Service/Repair Technician.

Summary of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician: The Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the client’s pool equipment by performing the following duties.

Manages seasonal open and closing of pools.

Manages pool startups and indoctrination's

Installs and repairs pools equipment.

Handles winter cover measuring and installing.

Handles employee training.

Manages weekly service of contracts and plaster prepping.

Performs other duties as needed or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

The service technician directly supervises up to four employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Qualifications of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

Language Ability of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

service technician ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Math Ability of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

The service technician would need the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as swimming pool gallonage.

Reasoning Ability of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

The service technician would need to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

The service technician would need to have knowledge of automation equipment that connects to customer's devices.

Education/Experience of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses of the Residential Pool Senior Service Technician:

Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record

PHTA Pool Service Professional Certification is helpful, but not necessary
