Basic Function
The Sr. Organization Change Management (OCM) Partner leads the development, implementation, and execution of effective change management strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that changes across the organization are made in a structured, systematic, and controlled manner to reduce resistance, uncertainty, and disruptions; and foster successful adoption and positive acceptance of change within the organization.
The Senior OCM Partner will operate with a strategic mindset, collaborate effectively across global teams, and execute with precision on projects and strategic initiatives while interfacing with and influencing stakeholders, including business leaders and employees, across the enterprise.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans for key People & Culture projects and strategic initiatives
Collaborate with project managers, leaders, cross-functional teams, Corporate Communications and other key stakeholders to integrate and drive OCM plans and
activities
Create actionable deliverables, conduct assessments and analyses, and deliver change management activities
Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance, and mitigate areas of concern through pre-planning, collaboration, and influence
Lead change impact assessments to determine the level of impacts to the organization for initiatives requiring significant change (i.e., process changes, organizational changes, new programs, etc.)
Proactively communicate change management plans, status updates, and impact assessments to stakeholders
Evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives, including development and tracking of metrics, and make recommendations for improvement
Continuously improve OCM strategy, processes, tools, templates, and practices
Train and coach managers and employees on change management principles and processes
Facilitate change management workshops, meetings, and other activities as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to change management
Min. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational behavior, change leadership, or related field
15+ years of experience implementing change management strategies across a range of initiatives, preferably with a global workforce
Working knowledge of OCM processes, methods, and best practices
Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to routinely interface at all levels of the organization quickly and interchangeably
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate within globally distributed teams with a collaborative, intercultural mindset
Exceptional organizational, pre-planning, and project management skills
Demonstrates ability to build relationships and interact with senior management and key partner groups
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to change management
Ability to quickly understand organization’s current technologies, practices, and strategic direction
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
Excels at dealing with ambiguity, solutions-oriented
Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP), knowledge of HR processes and tools, and consulting experience preferred
Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional languages preferred
