Job Title: Trust Accountant
Location: Tigard, OR
Job Type: Contract-To-Hire (full time) Hybrid work- 2 days a week in office
Compensation: $23-$26 per hour DOE
Job Purpose: The Trust Accountant is responsible for providing accounting support by researching outstanding items, resolving discrepancies, and completing bank account reconciliations. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, knowledge of basic accounting systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate with banks to assist in resolving and researching posting items.
Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations.
Review account ledgers and identify items requiring additional research.
Conduct thorough research to resolve outstanding items.
Generate reports as needed.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 2+ years of accounting related experience
Additional consideration given to candidates with Real Estate, Title and Escrow, or Trust Accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting systems and terms
Experience in bank reconciliation
Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work with continual attention to detail.
Demonstrated high level of customer service and time management skills.
