Purpose of position
To provide ongoing exceptional service levels to all walk-in customers at the DHL WDH service point. To drive revenue and shipment growth at the service points by ensuring that customers are sold Value Added products whenever possible.
Key Performance Areas
•To integrate quality into the business by ensuring that every customer contact is a demonstration of absolute dedication towards providing first time ideal solutions for the satisfaction of the customers immediate and future needs.
•Deliver an increase in shipments and revenue at the service point by remaining highly educated in the features and benefits of the DHL products available and aim to close deals with potential customers.
•Ensure the processing of shipments is operated effectively and in accordance with standard DHL procedures.
•Ensure safety and security of staff by following the check-in procedure with all visitors and ensuring that no unauthorized individuals enter DHL premises.
•Ensure interactions with different departments is done according to DHL Global Standard Operating Procedures
Minimum Requirements
· Matric / Equivalent
· Previous courier / airfreight experience
· Customer service experience
· DHL systems experience / knowledge
· Knowledge of customs procedures
· PC Literacy
