Job Description

Positions: (8) SEASONAL LAWN MAINTENANCE WORKERS

Division: Public Works

Reports to: Executive Director & Deputy Director of Public Works

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Seasonal workers will provide grass cutting and landscaping, grounds keeping work to include, but not limited to: mowing, trimming, weeding, digging, raking, sweeping, hauling, spreading dirt/gravel, debris clean up, snow removal, etc., and other unspecified duties involving general labor as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions. Communicate effectively as required to ensure safe and efficient completion of the work. Requires sufficient physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform strenuous physical work. Ability to left 50lbs. unassisted, ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and crawl, climb, reach, etc. Basic knowledge, skill, and ability to sufficiently use hand and power tools regularly, that are job-related. Ability to work under varying weather conditions.
