What we're looking for:
Experienced carpenters/construction workers. Carpentry, concrete, or farm experience preferred. Hard workers with a willingness to learn and work with a team. Valid Driver's License. Willing to travel out of state for work. Will work in our Highland, IL office when not traveling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Self-performing work as needed
Must be able to perform carpentry work in a safe manner
Must possess the ability to work independently and with a team
Includes but is not limited to managing project staff, materials, equipment and subcontractors required in the maintenance and construction of a project.
Managing Subcontractors while staying on schedule
Assist with Callbacks/Warranties or Emergencies (possibly after hours)
Facilitate flow of information among Owners, Designers, Preconstruction, Quality Assurance, Subcontractors/Suppliers and Field divisions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional in actions and appearance
Effective interactions with owners, subcontractors, employees and assistants
Strong computer skills
Must be able to travel at least (50%)
Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks at military bases
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
Qualified applicants will have:
High School Diploma
Prior experience in similar role will be considered but is not required
