Description:
Position begins with a 6-12 month apprenticeship program. Responsible for managing and growing the department to arrange the best possible on-site service in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience.
3+ Years dispatch and/or customer service experience
Previous Sign Install Experience a plus
Excellent customer service
Safety and quality focused
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
Initial "boot camp" Tech Support training for initial 3-6 months
Additional 6-month apprenticeship in Field Services
Manage relationships with Field Service companies
Grow department staff as needed
Ensure that all work orders meet SLA’s
Manage all paperwork such as PO’s, Work Orders, Parts Orders and Installation Instructions, etc.
Oversee work orders to the point of completion
Oversee the part return process for Full and Part Only warranty orders
Document all service company compliance
Ensure return of parts from installer if required - same as above
Collaborate with inventory and shipping departments as needed
Collaborate with Tech Support and Engineering Depart on escalated repairs
Review invoices that are beyond allowable dollar limit for standard approval
Comprehensive technical knowledge of product
Understanding of lighted cabinets, monument signs and EMC’s
Understanding of site surveys
Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.
Attend all necessary meetings and training as required.
