FedEx Delivery Driver

Job Description

A FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full time package delivery drivers! Drivers will operate out of the terminal located at 101 45th St, Munster, IN 46321/1515 Gostlin St Hammond IN 46320 and deliver to homes and businesses in the surrounding areas in step vans provided by the employer.

Starting Pay: $1,000-$1,300/week

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday (hours approx 8am until delivery completion)

Delivery Driver Benefits:

Weekly Pay

Health insurance after 90 days of employment

5 personal days after 90 days of employment

Delivery Driver Requirements:

At least 21 years of age

For Hire Endorsement Preferred

Must submit to a background check and motor vehicle report

Background check required (FedEx pays for this)!

Drug screen required (FedEx pays for this)!

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows.

Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.

Operate delivery vans safely, securely and competently.

Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.

Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.

Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
