Job description

Wonder is seeking a mental health therapist to provide home and community-based treatment centered on a holistic and integrative family systems approach. This is a part time contract role.

The only person conducting interviews is our Hiring Manager, Mariah Bowen. Please contact her to follow up with your application or with any questions at **

Who we are:

Wonder was created with the intent to provide therapeutic support services for pre-teens, adolescents, young adults and their families by combining individual and parent coaching with family therapy. Research shows that engaging teens and young adults in their own environment allows for faster, more authentic and longer therapeutic connection. Therefore, our mental health therapists meet clients in the community rather than in an office. Our aspiration is to ensure sustainable change for a lifetime.

What we offer:

We value your time so we pay for every aspect of the work you do

$50-65/hr for clinical time

Partial pay for time spent doing administrative work, case management, and travel

Flexible hours - you work with your clients to create your schedule

Be part of a supportive and caring team that collaborates and shares resources

Creative approaches grounded in solid fundamental evidence based theories are supported

About the role:

Individual Coach/Therapist: Our individual coaches are responsible for helping families work through a large spectrum of behavioral and emotional challenges. As an individual coach, you would meet your client in the community, engaging in activities like hiking, going out for coffee, crafting in the park, or job hunting. You would also collaborate with your care team, which includes a Parent Coach and a Clinical Team Leader to support the family as a whole. Our work with our clients focuses on relationship-based support combined with an understanding of systemic needs including clinical, school, work and social skills.

You’ll be a good fit if you possess the following:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Counseling (required)

Experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families providing individual and family therapy

Experience working with experiential modalities in a community-based setting

Strong ability to personally relate one-on-one with each client and build solid relationships

Willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-business hours, such as after school, evening, and/or on weekends

Ability to travel, driving to meetings at client’s homes or to activities

Ability to commit to working with a family on a continuous basis for 3 to 6 months at a minimum.
