Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
Position: Gas Line Superintendent (Union/Non-Union)
Reports To: Project Manager
Status: Full-time, Salary
Scope of Position
A self-starting individual who can organize, facilitate, and manage projects and coordinate crews for our department and served as a liaison between the Vallejo Company and its customers.
Essential Functions (Main Line Specific)
Direct Management of Foreman of the Main Line Crews.
Work with Foreman to ensure proper project setup/completion, attaining compliance dates and on time billing.
Review all incoming workload and schedule assignments with Foreman to ensure accurate and efficient timelines for project completion
Enforce company policies and procedures throughout the Main Line division.
Work as a liaison between Mainline and Leak/Connection Divisions.
Sign-off on Foreman’s timesheets and time off requests. Monitoring proper use of overtime and weekend work.
Communicate with project owners and general contractors on all aspects of the projects.
Essential Functions
Strive to achieve project profitability through cost effective construction plans and methods, cost tracking and accurate forecasting to best utilize equipment and personnel.
Take part in new hires for the gas line division. Work closely with HR to get the right people in the right places.
Monitor emails, texts, and all communication from the office through company Software. Staying up to date with any company communications.
Establish and maintain good working relationships, provide customer service to owners, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Maintain accurate records, track change orders and daily production and prepare timely written reports and schedule updates. Communicate with Project Manager.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Strong understanding of gas line projects
Thorough knowledge of all specifications and plans for assigned projects. Field operation planning, operation scheduling, cost, quantity, and quality tracking.
Understanding of specialized contractor agreements (OQ’s, paperwork and process)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills
