The Merchandise Allocator will report to the Director of Planning.Job Overview

The Merchandise Allocator is responsible for allocating inventory across Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale sales channels. This person will work closely with Merchandise Planning to ensure the Allocation strategy maximizes sales, margin, and sell-through. The Merchandise Allocator must be highly analytical, inquisitive, and continually seeking opportunities to place the right inventory in the right place at the right time.Responsibilities and Duties

Analyze and allocate inventory across all sales channels including Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale

Review weekly sales and inventory reports to ensure appropriate allocations. Communicate findings to Channel Leads and make recommendations based on your analysis

Analyze and update size profiles for all sales channels, incorporating into allocations both initial and replenishment

Develop and provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to influence buy plan and assortment strategies

Develop thorough knowledge of store performance, variances, trends and attributes (store and product) through data analysis and communication with the field and applying knowledge to allocation strategies

Ensure both Available-To-Sell (ATS) and Future Receipt Quantities (FRQ) are up to date and provided to our commercial teams

Ongoing collaboration with Planning Team to execute pre-season and in-season strategies

Partner with Operations to manage all back orders/ partial fulfillments across all sales channels

Take ownership of assigned projects and complete them with a high attention to detail

Continually strive to automate routine workstreams and manual processes to enable efficient, accurate, timely processing of dataQualifications

2+ years of inventory management and allocation responsibilities. Experience with an omni-channel business is highly preferred

Understanding of inventory management best practices and processes to ensure accurate inventory levels within an enterprise planning system

Demonstrated proficiency and efficiency in Excel. Individual must be able to handle large data sets and have knowledge on processes to ensure data is clean and accurate

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
